Life can be difficult, but I'm here to help you make sense of what’s getting in way and keeping you stuck. I want to help you understand yourself, patterns that you might fall into and be able to take control of these and grow beyond them.

I offer face-to-face therapy in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire as well as online.

I'm Jordan, the founder of Branch Beyond Therapy. I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (or CBT Therapist for short).

 

Finding the right therapist can be daunting with so many people to choose from as well as loads of therapy approaches. Research shows that one of the most important elements of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist - that's what I offer a free 15-minute introductory phonecall to make sure that I feel like a good fit for you before committing to any sessions.

I'm committed to supporting growth and empowering people to move beyond where they are now. Why? Because I've been there. I know from my own therapy experience the hugely positive impact it can have in helping you to truly know yourself and work towards living the life you want.

I work with a range of clients, supporting them with tools and strategies that have been proven to help. Therapy can help when anxiety is stealing your peace, when self-doubt is holding you back or when your relationship dynamics are feeling difficult or confusing. 

 

Therapy can also help you find new go-to ways of managing difficult times with new coping strategies. You might want to work through difficulties emotions, difficult changes that are happening in your life or understand difficult experiences from the past.

 

At Branch Beyond Therapy, I can help you set your goals and work with you to develop new ways that get you there.

WHAT EXACTLY IS CBT?

At Branch Beyond our main therapy approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – which empowers you to take charge of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

We also offer an Integrative Approach which means therapy can be flexible and although has a foundation of CBT, can be tailored and built  around you as an individual using other therapy styles too such as person-centred therapy, compassion-focused approaches and looking through a neurobiological lens (basically how the brain works and why!). 

Therapy isn't just about understanding your past; it's about building skills and strategies for your present and future.

Together, with me, you can explore patterns of thinking and behaviour, pinpoint unhelpful beliefs, and learn techniques to reframe your thoughts and responses.
